1. Service Description
Updated HPI provides vehicle data investigation services by querying third-party government, insurance, and financial databases. While we strive for 100% accuracy, our reports are dependent on the data provided by these sources at the time of the query.
2. User Responsibility
Information provided in our reports should be used as a supplementary tool for vehicle purchasing decisons. Users are responsible for physically inspecting the vehicle and matching VINs as described in our Buyer Advice section.
3. Data Accuracy & Liability
Updated HPI is not liable for financial losses caused by inaccuracies in third-party database records. Our "Gold Check" provides a data-guarantee up to a specific financial limit, subject to the terms of our insurance providers.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the instant, digital nature of our vehicle checks, refunds are only issued in cases where a technical error prevented the generation of the report after successful payment.
5. Intellectual Property
The "Turbo-Glass" interface, logo, and investigation logic of Updated HPI are protected under UK copyright laws. Redistribution of reports for commercial resale without an Official API license is strictly prohibited.
